Brandon and Eric discuss the iconic performance of James Cagney as Cody Jarrett, one of the most complicated villains in film history. The character would become the inspiration for many of the anti-hero archetypes in the sixties and seventies. This movie also marked Cagney’s return to Warner Brothers after several years and became a smash hit. The hosts also dive into the expert pacing and tone by director. Raoul Walsh.
